Hillary Clinton and Robert Byrd want congress to revoke the Iraq war authorization. This would also have to arrive to congress in the form of a bill, which President Bush could, and would veto.
So..
Since we know how this would all turn out. Congress would vote on a bill to revoke the Iraq war authorization. Bush would veto it. What's the point of doing all of that if we know what the outcome will be..??
Let's just take it directly to the American people.
If you believe Iraq is chuck full of al Qaeda members, if you believe fighting terrorism is important, if you believe America should remain in Iraq, you need not fill out this form..
But, if you believe we should run away from Iraq, please fill out this form and mail it off today..

. But I really do feel that Americans do not want to surrender to anyone. Especially to radical Islam. 
As a group, liberals will call for America to pull out of Iraq. Nameless- faceless bloggers are the loudest. Democratic politicians are not even calling for a complete US pullout of Iraq. Democratic politicians are calling for a "draw down" of troop levels to a dangerous amount. (Which is stupid. If 150,000 troops are having a hard time keeping peace in Iraq. What are 40 or 50,000 US troops going to be able to do..??)
So if you can grab a liberal's attention and ask them to sign a surrender form, they will not do it.
They will rationalize- "This isn't a surrender.. We are just leaving" "We are occupiers, we are making terrorists mad.." (I think terrorists were already mad to begin with. Terrorists have been mad for more years than you have been alive.)
"If we leave Iraq, things will get better.."
(Just keep that dream alive.)
Or my personal favorite- "It's a civil war, we can't stop that.."
If you remember correctly, Iraq experienced a period of excitement at Saddam being removed. Then insurgents managed to blow up "the golden Mosque" and all hell broke lose.
America will not have to control a civil war. That is what the Iraqi military and police are for. (If they can ever get their heads out of their asses.)
If you pull forces out of Iraq, al Qaeda and Iran will view this as a victory. America will have lost. Al Qaeda's membership will double and triple because what terrorists are doing will have worked. Money will pour into al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah like never before. Things will get MUCH worse. That is one thing you can be sure of.

I want you to declare that you are surrendering to al Qaeda.
Liberals will scoff at this. They will not do it.

Because of what I said earlier.
Americans do not want to surrender to anyone.

The GWB cabal invaded Iraq to seize the oilfields and to become a major factor in Asia. The cabal succeeded.
Withdrawal from Iraq and the impeachment of GWB are simply smokescreens. As long as oil companies pay the bribes, it is business as usual.
As I see it, the US military knocked out all of Saddam's tanks and fighter planes. Destroyed the Iraqi army. Removed Saddam as a dictator and the people of Iraq held free elections.
So far- this is a win / win situation.
But two problems occurred. Insurgents pouring into Iraq to try and scare Americans into leaving the Middle East. Also a possible civil war in Iraq. Both of these problems are "law enforcement" problems best handled by the local Iraqi police. (But the Iraqi police can't do the job right now.) Give them some time.

I cannot "realize" the war has already been lost. Because that is an opinion. In my opinion, the actual "war" was won by the American soldiers long time ago.
Currently, this is a battle to secure peace. It is a political and physical battle. (A battle of perception.) If we leave Iraq now, the victory will be handed to al Qaeda.

You will make excuses and rationalize "why leaving Iraq isn't a surrender." But the enemy will see it as a surrender.
A political party that wants to regain power is misleading you. This political party is telling you that they will remove US troops from Iraq, but their actual plans are to lower the troops levels from 150,000 to 50,000. (How would you like to be one of the poor bastards who the democrats leave behind in Iraq??)

You are blaming the wrong party for misleading people. We need to focus on the real problem here.
I am trying to make you understand what leaving Iraq will mean. Making sure the enemies of America do not perceive that America is weak IS my main concern. Admitting that you would not sign the surrender form proves much to me.

That is really all you had to say. The rest of your argument has little to do with the year 2007. You are still fighting a 2002 debate on if Saddam needed to be removed. That debate could be interesting but it has little to do with solving security in Iraq and making sure al Qaeda does not perceive America as weak.
The democratic solution of lower troop levels in Iraq from 150,000 to 50,000 is not a wise idea.
This is what I am fighting against. This stupid idea of lowering troop levels. You are jumping in front of the democrats and proclaiming your hatred of President Bush. (We all know you hate Bush.) But lowering troop levels to 50,000 and debating about a dictator that was tried, sentenced, and hung many months ago doesn't really help fight al Qaeda.
The al Qaeda attacks on US soldiers will increase 10 fold in Iraq if we follow the democratic solution.
The best solution is to work with the Iraqi police and military until they can handle it. This way, millions of innocent people are not slaughtered like they were in Vietnam when we pulled out of there.
In my view, there are 2 ways to end this war:
1. Immediately withdrawl all US military from Iraq. Let the cards fall where they may, and when the inevitable "Shite Islamic Republic of Iraq" is formed after a few years of heavy killings - we'll just hope we are able to contain them like we do with Iran.
2. Immediately inject 500,000 new troops into Iraq to secure every street in every neighborhood. This is the only way to truly "win" in Iraq. The terrorists won't be able to plant any roadside bombs without being seen. Eventually they will all give up or be killed or arrested. Borders will be sealed shut to prevent influx of new terrorists. Of course we will need the draft back in order to accomplish this, but I'm sure Americans will sacrifice for this worthy cause... right? [HUH]
I'm for either option, but this BS that is going on right now isn't working at all.
The American military can try and maintain peace by rounding up or killing as many of the enemy that they can. At the same time, train the Iraqi people to defend themselves. Iraq has well over 500,000 people to do the job you speak of.
Your option number 2 is not possible without the draft. Republicans are dead-set against the draft because President Ford worked hard to transform the US military into a volunteer force. This was a major point during the Vietnam War- Taking young men fresh out of high school and sticking a gun in their hands and sending them to war. NO.. it is much better to ask people to volunteer. (Unless there is a WW2 size, full scale invasion.)
Your option number 1 is unacceptable. Terrorists feed on weakness. History proves that. But I really do not like the democratic plan of lowering the US forces in Iraq from 150,000 to around 50,000. The democratic plan is not good. Those 50,000 US troops will be sitting ducks. Terrible idea.
Option number 3, training Iraqi's to police themselves is the best option.
