Camp Hillary

March 4, 2007 / by AngryRepublican

So I've requested information from Camp Hillary to see when the next "Town Hall" style chat is going to be in my area and to see how I will be able to attend. I'm hoping for a response soon and will keep you updated on my progress.

My intention is not to heckle or disrupt the chat, but rather to ask the questions that everyone really wants to ask her. You see, even though I may not agree with anything that she stands for, there's something called human respect that I hold dear to my heart. Yes, that sounds sappy, but I don't care. My other intention is to expose the restrictions, if there are any, that are put in place before people can attend these meetings.

Putting Hillary aside, I wanted to comment on Ann Coulter's slur to John Edwards.

Ann has always been abrasive when she speaks, and the 1st Amendment of our Constitution protects her right to do so and I will never challenge that right.

With that said...

Calling someone a faggot, either directly or indirectly, is completely absurd. Ann will more than likely come out and say that it was just a bad joke that was taken out of context.

Remember John Kerry's "bad joke" about the intelligence level of our troops?

In order to remain consistent and bipartisan, I will not allow for a "bad joke" of this nature to be forgiven. Ann has gone too far this time, and we'll see in the coming days how this comment will effect her future.

If you're concerned for her welfare, don't be. She has a knack for making money so she will not be starving anytime soon.

In other news…

The House just passed a bill that will allow for employees to form unions without the "secret" election that they now have to hold to authorize for a union to represent them.

I went through a union crisis at one of my previous jobs when I worked for a conference calling company. It was ugly and sketchy from the start. Employees were walking around with these signature cards telling other employees that a signature would only say that they were interested in learning more about the union when, in fact, the cards were authorization documents stating that the employee was in favor of a union uprising.

Unions are bad for business and bad for employees. They had there place years ago when they were formed to aid labor employees in their attempts to have a respectable working environment, one that was safe and one that paid a fair wage.

Since then, we have a nice little group called OSCHA that handles all of the workplace issues.

AT&T has a union now, not for their technicians, but for their corporate office employees. Very rarely do you find a safety concern in an office environment, or a discrepancy with fair wages. The only reason why this union is present is because the employees were greedy and wanted more money for the jobs that they do. We would all like to be paid more, but you're paid on the basis of your experience, education and the duties that you need to do.

This new bill will never come to an existence anytime soon. The White House is already saying that they will veto any measure that reaches the Oval Office and I applaud them for it.

It may seem like I'm against any measures that come out of the new legislative session, but don't jump the gun too soon here. I just haven't seen anything come across the table that makes any sense.

Until next time...

Hillary came out of the box early an offensive geared to never let her primary opponents catch up. It backfired when she sat on the fence yet to be decided.
Why do you indulge in dated epithets such as socialist?
Modern epithets are faggot lesbian pedophile Democrat and Republican.
On TV the slurs come in pairs like pedophile Republican. Nobody listens to retractions.
Your denunciation of Coulter's faggot Edwards only reinforces her claim.

I do have to admit to laughing when I hear the left wing call Ann Coulter- "Coultergeist."

"I don't care who you are.. That's funny..!!"

Now that's a classy, thoughtful piece of writing. Any problem with calling people (Republicans) murderers?

Yes, I do have a problem with calling people in general "murderers, Republicans or whatever. But particular people? No problem. OJ, for instance.
