The Clinton's are racists
Obama doesn't understand women
Not having a pony running in the democratic primaries, I have the unique position to view the democratic race. I could care less who wins. (Though, Hillary would make a fine target.)
On the republican side, we have a choice of a rich- religious white guy in a suit. Or we could pick one of the other rich- religious white guys in suits. We have no worries..!!
I must stop for a moment..
I made a joke about republicans. But the fact remains that republicans appointed African Americans to higher political cabinet positions then any other American party. (Gen. Colin Powell and Dr. Condoleezza Rice) Many of us conservatives wanted Condi Rice to run for president as a republican. She refused because of the attacks she would receive from the other party. She wanted nothing to do with it.
So, for the 2008 election, we conservatives are debating the issues. (Who smells more like Ronald Reagan.)
Democrats are not so lucky…
Their race has degraded into who is racist..
And who is hurting a woman's feelings..
Hillary Clinton received a win when she became emotional about how people perceive her to be and how "hard it is to run for president." (George W. should be proud- "It's hard work.. It's hard..")
Obama is now receiving the same kind of bump because of recent statements by the Clinton's.
Hillary, stumping on the campaign trial, had this to say-
“Dr. King’s dream began to be realized when President Lyndon Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It took a president to get it done.”
Let's print that again…
"It took a president to get it done.”
(This is why we want you democrats to elect Hillary)
Folks, there is no other way to take that remark.
Hillary is trying to say that it took a president to get civil rights in America. And that does belittle a lifetime of work by Dr. King.
Not to be outdone…
President Clinton told listener's that-
There is-“no difference in (Obama's) voting record and Hillary's” on Iraq.
“Give me a break,” Clinton said. “This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I've ever heard.”
Many Black Americans are offended that Clinton was referring to the Obama campaign as being a "fairy tale". Making it "less-than" the others running.
Why did the democratic race descend into a feud on race and gender..??
Simple….
(First) When all of your candidates are running with the same platform- (Get troops out of Iraq, National health care, tax cuts for the poor, raise taxes on the rich) what else can you argue..??
(Second) When none of your top candidates has ever run A STATE, (or any large body of humans collected together) how can you argue experience..??
(Third- and most important) Democrats have never had to deal with being called- "Racist" or having a bias against women.
They do not know how to handle it.
See…
Thirty years ago, democrats came up with a plan to "label" republicans as: racist- homophobes, who are holding women back in the workplace. For thirty years republicans have had to watch what they say. (Or do.)
Anytime some republican says something "off the cuff", (Trent Lott) we grab the guy off stage and boot him out of office.
Republicans have learned the hard way, (by way of a terrible stereo type- wrongly placed upon republicans) we have learned how to deal with matters.
So much so that when Colin Powell challenged the Bush Administration on Iraq policies, the issue of race never came into play. (This..?? Coming from a party of racists..?? How can that be..??)
Today, democrats cannot even run a political nomination without claiming race and gender bias.
They have no experience with being called Raciest. After all, the democrats are the party of the people. Champions of the causes of the little guy.
So, you can see why I am amused at watching the democratic race crumble into "who is a racist" and "who doesn't understand women."
One thing for sure..
The Clinton's have never been called "racist", and they are stunned, surprised, and they do not know how to respond.
(But the Clinton's said what they said. We have video record of the comments and it doesn't look good. This time the media is reporting it.)

In this edition, a team of "Angry professionals" investigates "What If Hillary is elected President."

(note)
I have some readers who are not familiar with YouTube or blogging. If the video is playing "choppy," (starting and stopping) this can be caused by several things: Internet connection speed, the age of your computer, or how busy YouTube is.
If the video is starting and stopping, I will let it play all the way to the end. (I will go get a cup of coffee and do something else while it is playing.) It seems to play better on the "replay". After the video is completely downloaded, a button will appear asking if you want to "replay" the video. If you click on that icon, it seems to run better during the second view.![]()

Thanks for checking out The Angry Republic

Love your work.
You said it better than I could. If Hillary didn't have to compete against Obama, she would probably be miles ahead.
The Clinton's have always won by destroying their opposition with "dirty laundry."
This is one time it isn't working.
Republicans, the party of Abraham Lincoln, has been a color-blind party far longer. Until the 1970s and 1980s you really didn't see the Republicans as the dominant party in the south - it was the Democratic party. A lot of people say they went Republican because they were racist, etc. After all, a Democratic President (Johnson) signed the Civil Rights laws. Most people don't remember that Johnson was going against the Southern Democrats and the southern governors that threw more barriers in the way of segregation were Democrats like Kefauver in Arkansas and Wallace in Alabama. I well remember the 1960s when Texas was a one-party state - and it was Democratic (of which all of my relatives were a member - and most of them eventually became Republicans).
That the south evolved into majority Republican states (none are one-party states as they were when the Dems were the primary party) not because of racism and wanting to repeal civil rights laws. It's mainly Republican because the Democrats lost their own way and no longer represented the values of the south.
I've also thought it was interesting that of all the places forced to desegregate schools over the years - it was Democratic BOSTON that was the most vociferous back in the 1970s (years after most of the south had been desegregated by the way).
If you look at history the Democrats have nothing over the Republicans in the area of racism. They're just better at lying about it and making people believe them.
Great Post! [THUMBUP]
How about an election where we have a democrat (McCain) and two socialists? Sad times ahead.
If I wanted socialism or Marxism, I would move to those countries! We need "breath of fresh air" Obama like we need another hole in our @ss!
