I just wish that the Democratic Party would count all the votes. I do not understand how the Democratic Party can explain throwing American votes in the garbage can.
How can they allow millions of Americans: Black Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, short Americans, fat Americans, and even those troublesome White American's votes- just toss all these votes in the dumpster.
Did the founding fathers claim that Iowa MUST vote first..?? (I do not think so because Iowa wasn't a state.)
All the votes MUST be counted.
It is a constitutional right.
If the democrats refuse to count two states because of rules that they made up, then I am no longer ever going to vote democratic, ever, never in the future. (And I mean it..!!)
All votes must count.
It is the American way..!! Just like apple pie, gummy worms, and video games like "Grand Theft Auto."

The topic of Iraq…
Can we ever "justify" people dying for a cause?
It would be nice if there was a diplomatic way of solving everything.
For me, the tipping point was Saddam surrendering in the first Gulf War. That was Saddam's "second chance." At that point, Saddam could have followed his surrender agreement, played by the rules, and he would still be the leader of Iraq today.
But Saddam chose to defy the rules that he signed.
When Saddam ordered his military to shoot at American pilots, that was an act of war, there is no debate on that matter.
Is the Iraq War worth the loss of human life..??
Hell no..!!
You cannot put a price tag on a human life. And shame on anyone who tries to.
But the blame falls completely on Saddam.
I do not blame the American Congress and an American President for enforcing the rules, no more than I would blame a police officer for making an arrest.
Both Hillary and Obama want to leave about 50 to 60,000 US troops in Iraq, pulling the other 90,000 troops out soon.
If 150,000 US troops are having problems keeping the peace in Iraq, how will 50,000 survive..??
It could be a blood bath and how could any sane person leave 50,000 soldiers behind in Iraq.
God, look after those poor soldiers that Hillary and Obama will leave behind in Iraq.

Two good points , than k you for pointing out how the democrats feel about the American people
Good post. Loved the first half! My views are a little bit different regarding Iraq but your views are still great reading.
It would be useful for all to understand that niether the Democrat nor Republican party is a sanctioned arm of the U.S. government. They are independant groups of citizens who come together under banners that they believe best represent their political interests. We, The People, join these parties because their leaders paid attention in civics class (do such things still exist) and know the "Roberts Rules of Order" that are required to qualify a candidate to run for office. Anyone who knows the rules can start his own party.
So far as I know the insider rules that the parties make to control their constituents are not legally binding and are only as fair as they need to be in order to reach the goals and objectives set by the party leaders. In short both parties are gangs of thugs with mindsets that are hardly different than the mindsets of ordinary street gangs. Less violent? Sure. But the thinking processes are no different.
If more people understood this they might be less inclined to join these gangs and would declare themselves independent. That way political hopefuls would be forced to appeal to the greater American population and not to the will of these gangs. There is great anger among The People these days about apparent gangsterism in all levels of government. It only appears to be so because it is so. Politicians are beholden to their respective gangs and will forfeit their jobs if they step outside party lines.
Anyone who thinks Obama is a virginal outsider free to act and speak his own mind is dreaming.
It's quite simple. Florida and Michigan were told that if they moved the dates of their primaries, they would lose their delegates. They did it anyway. Now they are kicking themselves in the ass because they didn't realize how much of a say they could've had.
The parties can have any rules they want for picking a nominee. They could have a bloody-knuckles tournament, or some sort of UFC match if they wanted to make it really interesting. In fact, before the 1970's regular people had no say in who the nominee was, that person was selected by the party membership at the conventions. The real election is in November.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that voting in a primary is a "constitutional right" like it would be in a general election.
It says nothing in the constitution about having the right to vote in a primary. It says nothing about the state of Iowa going first in the primaries.
However, when congress and party leaders change the rules of the "game", we do receive certain rights.
For years now, people have a "right" to vote in the primaries. (Just as they now have a right to vote on senators. Which wasn't the case many years ago.)
"Joe Smith and Jane Doe" didn't decide to show up early in Florida and vote. Party leaders and state representatives made that decision for them. It should be the party leaders and state representatives who are punished for this "ghastly crime."
But no, "Joe Smith and Jane Doe" are being punished by having their votes taken away.
The only thing that "Joe Smith and Jane Doe" did was what they were told; they showed up and voted.
I am just pointing out a problem that will haunt a certain political party in the future.
When Hillary loses, the Clinton's can tear the party in two by parading Florida voters in front of the camera who had their votes thrown in the dumpster by the DNC.
Doesn't say much for "party unity."
